Pro-choice a) Do you generally support pro-choice or pro-life legislation?

No e) Do you support requiring parental notification before an abortion is performed on a minor?
No f) Do you support requiring parental consent before an abortion is performed on a minor?
No g) Do you support the prohibition of public funds for abortion procedures?
No h) Do you support the prohibition of public funds for organizations that perform abortions?
Although I personally am not in favor of abortions after the first trimester it is not my place to dictate to others what medical procedures they have done. There are also times that a late term abortion may be required. I see the validity of the concept that parental notification could result in a dangerous situation for a minor. As for organizations that perform abortions they also give other support, education and medical help such as birth control to those who need assistance which is their public service to try and curtail the need for abortion in the first place.

No g) Do you support an increase of the minimum wage?
The biggest problem in financial assistance to those facing foreclosure is the habit of people trying to live above their means in the first place and not putting up funds for emergencies. We should be pushing for people not to go spend happy just for the latest of technology, designer clothes and other things in order to have a few extra dollars to put up. There are too many factors in our stale economy which need to be addressed which simply increasing minimum wage is not going to cure.

e) Other or expanded principles:
I do not believe in the concept of two or three priorities. There is no issue that is a stand alone item. Everything we do in life and in government effects everything else even if only through the ripple effect. We have to attack our problems in an across the board manner taking all possibilities into account. To do otherwise is to create even more problems.
